A youth lead organization that is raising funds and promoting skateboarding and bmx-ing.  The only local place to skate or ride in the county is located at Carrollton Nike Park.  The facility is operated and maintained by Isle of Wight County Parks and Recreation Department. 

The park was closed for a couple of years due to un-safe ramp conditions.  It re-opened a while back, and some of the ramps have been replaced with funding from the County, along with a donation of $20,000 from IWAASports.  Each year, when possible, the County continues to support the SK8/BMX Park with some funding, however it is not enough to replace to continue to address all the needed improvements to the park.

Since the park has re-opened, and is filled regularly with bikers and skateboarders. A group of youth decided to organize and help raise funds for the park.  They approached IWAASports and Parks & Rec Staff, and ask for some support assistance. Kids, parents or other interested citizens can get involved.
