On Saturday, November 12, the group held its first fundraising event, RAMP JAM and raised $1896. 65 Although the park is normally free, the event required purchase of a $10 wristband for the day, and a $5 entry fee for the competitions. The event had 58 skateboarding and BMX biking participants, with 47 competing for the cash prizes, sponsored by Blue Horseshoe Tattoo. Estimated crowd for the event, was about 200. Funds were also raised from concessions, additional donations, raffles and t-shirt sales.

The group is also currently seeking small ($150) or large ($250) sign sponsors, along with a multi-sign that for a $50 donation you can get a line of recognition on. Their goal is to have 10 Large, 10 Small and 20 participants on the Multi-Sign before mid-December. They will begin working on a Spring RAMP JAM slated for March or April 2012.
